Challenges of Virtual Validation and Verification for Automotive Functions

Abstract

This paper addresses challenges in virtual validation and verification of automotive functions through simulations. Based on a workshop with experts and a follow-up survey, 17 key challenges were identified along with proposed solutions and an assessment of research directions.
