Evaluating the Role of Security Assurance Cases in Agile Medical Device Development
Abstract
This paper evaluates the CASCADE approach for building security assurance cases in the context of a large medical device manufacturer with an established agile development workflow. It addresses cybersecurity issues in medical devices that threaten patient safety and the need to comply with domain-specific regulations.
