Understanding, Implementing, and Supporting Security Assurance Cases in Safety-Critical Domains

Abstract

This licentiate thesis presents CASCADE, an approach for creating security assurance cases (SACs) that aligns with ISO/SAE-21434 and integrates quality assurance measures. The work addresses how regulatory bodies now require structured security arguments to verify compliance in safety-critical domains such as automotive.
